Lauren Steins is a Partner at BBC Law LLP Malvern office. She focuses her practice on a diverse range of catastrophic injury and liability claims, including liquor liability, premises liability, products liability, motor vehicle liability, and negligent security matters.
Lauren also frequently lectures on subjects relating to her practice areas to members of the Bar and clients. Liquor liability is a major aspect of Lauren’s practice. She has represented liquor license holders in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Her representation includes defending these establishments in numerous matters involving bar fights, altercations, automobile accidents, catastrophic injuries, and death.
Lauren graduated cum laude from Drexel University in 2009 with a B.S. in Business Administration. While at Drexel, Lauren was an NCAA Division I soccer team member. While balancing athletics and academics, Lauren also worked as a paralegal in one of the largest law firms in the City of Philadelphia. Lauren then attended Rutgers University School of Law – Camden, graduating with her J.D. in 2012.
While in law school, Lauren interned with the Honorable Joel A. Pisano, USDC (ret.), in the District of New Jersey from June 2010 through December 2011. Lauren also completed two internships with the United States Attorney’s Office – District of New Jersey in the Trenton and Camden vicinages. After graduation, Lauren clerked for the Honorable Joseph L. Foster, JTC (t/a) in the Superior Court of New Jersey.
Lauren currently serves on the Board of Directors for the One Catalyst Foundation, a non-profit founded to fund cancer research.
During her free time, Lauren enjoys running. She has competed in numerous half marathons in support of charitable causes such as the Ronald McDonald House of Philadelphia and the Sloane-Kettering Cancer Center.
