Alison Moody is an Associate at the BBC Law LLP New York Office. Alison concentrates her practice in professional liability defense and personal injury defense.
Alison previously served as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Kimberly Espinales-Maloney, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Hudson Vicinage. During her clerkship, Ms. Moody assisted the Judge in various aspects of civil practice, including preparing recommendations for discovery motions, researching legal issues, and drafting memoranda of decision on dispositive motions. She also served as a certified New Jersey Judiciary Mediator.
Alison obtained her Juris Doctor from Rutgers University School of Law. While attending Rutgers, she served as an Associate Articles Editor on the Rutgers Law Record and discovered a passion for oral advocacy, winning the Hon. Rosemary Gambardella Scholarship Competition, a bankruptcy-focused moot court competition, and competing in the American Bar Association’s National Appellate Advocacy Competition.
Alison has served as an assistant coach to Rutgers’ Appellate Team and continues to participate as a judge at Team moots.
